At Jummah, we believe in thoughtful buying and lasting style. Our lifestyle wear is designed to endure, supporting both a sustainable planet and a world where the once under- represented communities feel represented. Each piece we create reflects our commitment to culture, community, and conscious fashion.
To reduce environmental impact, we prioritise natural fibres that are biodegradable at the end of their life cycle. Every material we choose meets strict ecological and social standards. Currently we only work with 100% cotton materials and as we expand our range, we are committed to ensuring use of only 100% natural fibres in our production lines, with no unnecessary plastic polyester-blends.
Further, our aim is by 2027 to ensure that all our fibres that are transformed into garments are done so using low-waste cutting techniques and upcycling of leftover materials to using certified non-toxic dyes. Jummah is at the very beginning of its journey, but our journey and commitment are rooted in becoming completely and transparently ethical and environmentally responsible.
We also focus on responsible packaging. Most of our packaging is plastic-free, and every order arrives in a sustainable natural calico cotton tote that has been hand stamped, so you can carry Jummah with you daily. By 2027, we hope to achieve a fully plastic-free end to end experience from manufacturer, to Jummah, to customer.
Every Jummah piece is more than clothing, it’s a statement of pride in your identity, solidarity, and conscious living. By choosing our pieces, you are investing in sustainable practices, ethical production, and a brand that celebrates diversity and community in every stitch.
